Wedge gate valves are designed for installation as shut-off devices on pipeline lines, vessels, apparatuses and technological installations.
Gate valves refer to shut-off devices in which the passage is blocked by the translational movement of the shut-off body in a direction perpendicular to the movement of the flow of the transported medium. Valves are used to block the flow of gaseous or liquid media in pipelines of various pressures and nominal (conditional) passages.
